#4 Hilltoppers Get OT Win Against #18 Lumberjacks

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Kris McKinzie scored less than 30 seconds into overtime to send the #4-ranked Duluth Marshall boy's hockey team to a 5-4 win over #18-ranked Cloquet-Esko-Carlton.

The Hilltoppers, a Class A team, held a one goal lead until late in the third period when Beau Michaud scored to pull the Lumberjacks, a Class AA team, even.

Judd Peterson, who last week verbally committed to St. Cloud State, scored two goals in the win for the Hilltoppers, with Matt Klassen and Luke Pavelich each adding one.

Westin Michaud had two goals in the game for the Lumberjacks, with Karson Kuhlman also scoring for the visitors.

Duluth Marshall improves to (14-5) this season, while Cloquet-Esko-Carlton falls to (13-6).
