June 5, 2013 Updated Jun 5, 2013 at 11:45 PM CDT

Milwaukee, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Bartolo Colon won his fourth straight start and gave up just one earned run, and Brandon Moss hit a three-run homer for the Athletics as they cruised to a 6-1 win over the Brewers on Wednesday.

Colon gave up eight hits in seven innings as Oakland won for the 16th time in its last 19 games. The A's starter has been linked to a now-closed anti-aging clinic under investigation by Major League Baseball.

Carlos Gomez had the lone RBI for the Brewers with his triple in the bottom of the first.

Yovanni Gallardo allowed six hits and five earned runs over six innings and lost for the fifth time in his last six starts.

The Brewers (22-36) will host the Phillies (30-30) on Thursday at 7:10 p.m.
