Tardy headed to Blues camp; Hill to North Dakota

In hockey, Former Duluth East star Max Tardy will take part in the St. Louis Blues orientation camp, according to howiehanson.com. Tardy, a seventh round draft pick by the Blues in the recent NHL Draft, is expected to play for Tri-City Storm of the USHL. He's also a recruit for UMD.

Elsewhere, Hermantown native Ryan Hill recently committed to play for North Dakota, according to the Sioux Falls Stampede. A member of the Hermantown Hawks, which captured the 2007 Class A state title, Hill has played for 4 different teams between the USHL and the BCHL.
