After One Season, 'Wolves Waive Brandon Roy

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Timberwolves have waived guard Brandon Roy after just his first season with the franchise, it was announced on Friday afternoon.

Roy appeared in just five games in the 2012-13 season for Minnesota after being signed as a free agent on July 31.

He averaged 5.8 points and 4.6 assists per games this past year for the Timberwolves, averaging more than 24 minutes per contest.
