Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- After splitting a two-game road series with Notre Dame last week, the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team fell one spot to 14th in this week's U.S. College Hockey Online (USCHO) poll. The Bulldogs are now (2-2) this season and are the fourth-highest ranked team from the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) in this week's poll. #2-ranked Minnesota, #4-ranked North Dakota, and #5-ranked Denver are the three WCHA teams ahead of UMD, with all those teams receiving at least one first-place vote. Boston College takes over the top spot this week from Minnesota, receiving 27 first-place votes. In all, eight teams in the nation received at least one first-place vote from this week's ballots. UMD opens up the WCHA portion of its schedule this weekend, with games against Wisconsin set for 7:07 p.m. both October 26 and 27 at AMSOIL Arena.
