Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Duluthians Nate Anderson and Tom Cox earned the 2012 Miller Lite Early Bird championship on Sunday afternoon, winning a four-team playoff at Lester Park Golf Course.
The duo sank a long putt on the 10th hole, beating three other teams that finished regulation play in the two-day tournament with a score of 139.
Weather played a large role in the play on Sunday, with a low score of only 72 compared to a 64 on Saturday.
