Seattle, WA (NNCNOW.com) --- Former Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield has agree in principle to a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks, that according to a report from ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Winfield joins former Vikings all-pro wide receiver Percy Harvin who was traded to the Seahawks in March.

Winfield finished the 2012 season with three interceptions and 100 tackles for the Vikings but was released this off-season. Winfield joins the cornerback duo of Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner in Seattle who allowed the second-fewest passing touchdowns (15) in the league in 2012.

Winfield, 35, was originally drafted in 1999 as a first-round selection of the Buffalo Bills. He joined the Vikings as a free-agent in 2004.
