Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Oswaldo Arcia hit his first home run in the major leagues on Tuesday afternoon, lifting the Minnesota Twins to a 4-3 win over Miami to extend the club's current winning streak to five games.
Arcia's three-run blast came in the fourth inning, putting Minnesota up by a 4-2 margin at that point. Justin Morneau had the other run batted in for the Twins, that coming in the first inning.
Kevin Correia was strong on the hill, allowing two earned runs on just five hits across seven innings. He struck out five batters while improving to (2-1) this season for Minnesota.
The Twins are now (9-7) this 2013 season and will close out the day's doubleheader with Miami at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday at Target Field.
