BEST's Eisenhuth Finishes Third at Class A Golf Tournament

Becker, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Freshman Sam Eisenhuth appears to have a bright future for the Babbitt-Embarrass-Soudan-Tower (BEST) boys golf team.

Eisenhuth finished the MSHSL Class A boys golf tournament tied for third place, firing a two-day total of 151 to make him the top Northland finisher.

BEST senior Kory Shelerud also finished inside the top 20 for Class a boys, shooting a two-day total of 161.

BEST was also the area's top team in the tournament, finishing the two-day tournament with a score of 681.

Hermantown freshman Trent Sundbom had a great second round to finish with a two-day total of 148 in the MSHSL Class AA boys golf tournament, good enough to put him in a tie for ninth place.

Right on his heels were a pair of golfers from International Falls; senior Glenn Walls shot 149 to finish in a tie for 11th and senior Derek Riley shot 150 to finish in a tie for 15th.

Hermantown was also the top Northland team in the tournament, finishing with a two-day score of 616 to finish in fifth place.
