Hibbing, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Hibbing-Chisholm senior forward Adam Johnson was announced Thursday as one of 10 finalists for the 2013 Minnesota Mr. Hockey Award, given each season to the most outstanding senior player in boys' high school hockey.

Johnson, a Univeristy of Minnesota-Duluth recruit, is the Bluejackets' leading scorer this season with 15 goals and 22 assists through 21 games.

The Hibbing-Chisholm captain is one of two Northland players selected as finalists for the award, with the other being Grand Rapids senior defenseman Jake Bischoff.

This is the 29th year of the Minnesota Mr. Hockey Award, which is sponsored by the Minnesota Minute Men and will be given out during a banquet on March 10.
