Bombers Blanked in Class A Quarterfinals

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Barnum football team never got into a good rhythm on Saturday afternoon, falling 26-0 to unbeaten Mahnomen in the MSHSL Class A quarterfinals.

The Indians defense posted its eighth shutout of the season, having allowed just 43 points in its first 11 games this year.

Jacob Pavek scored two touchdowns for Mahnomen in the winning effort, helping his team advance to the state semifinals at Mall of America Field.

Barnum sees its 2012 season end with an overall record of (9-3).
