Milwaukee, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Ryan Braun hit a three-run home run in the fifth to lead Milwaukee over the Chicago Cubs, 4-2, before being ejected in the eighth inning.
After striking out in the eighth, Braun threw his bat in the air and was thrown out of the game. Despite the homer, Braun is just five for his last 32 at-bats.
Wily Peralta threw 6 2/3 innings for the Brewers, giving up two run and five hits. Alex Gonzales also singled in a run for Milwaukee who has now won seven in a row.
The Brewers (9-8) travel to San Diego to take on the Padres on Monday, April 22 at 9:10 p.m.
