Bridgewater Leads Vikings to Last-Second Win

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Teddy Bridgewater led a 7 play, 73-yard drive in less than a minute before capping it off with a 2-yard touchdown pass to lead the Minnesota Vikings past the Arizona Cardinals 30-28 on Saturday night at TCF Bank Stadium.

Bridgewater connected with Rodney Smith with 18 seconds left for the go-ahead TD. The first-round draft pick completed 16-of-20 passes for 179 yards and two scores.

Matt Cassel played the entire first half at quarterback for the Vikings, finishing 12-of-16 for 153 yards and a touchdown. Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson did not play.

Minnesota (2-0) will hit the road to take on Kansas City on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 7:00 p.m.
