Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Anders Broman scored a game-high 35 points on Thursday night to lead the #6-ranked Lakeview Christian Academy boys' basketball team to a 77-75 win over Duluth Denfeld.

Broman was fouled after grabbing an offensive rebound with four seconds left, and then he hit two free throws to give the Lions their first win in the past four games.

His 35 points leave him just seven points shy of breaking the all-time Minnesota scoring record, with that mark still standing at 4,086.

Josh Plys chipped in with 18 points for the Lions, and Mark Chiu was also in double figures with 12.

Jerome Strother, Jr. was the leading scorer for the Hunters, finishing with 31 points and leading a second half charge that brought the game down to the final posession.

Lakeview Christian Academy improves to (3-3) with the win, and Duluth Denfeld is still looking for its first win at (0-6) this year.
