Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Lakeview Christian Academy senior guard Anders Broman scored 34 points on Thursday afternoon, leading all scorers in the Lions' 72-54 loss to Rushford-Peterson in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class A quarterfinals at Williams Arena in Minneapolis.
The game marked Broman's last in high school, ending a career that has seen him break nearly every major scoring record in the state of Minnesota.
He leaves Lakeview Christian Academy with 5,119 career points, making him the state's all-time leading scorer ahead of the 4,086 scored by Kevin Noreen of Minnesota Transitions.
Broman will play next year at the Division I level for South Dakota State University (SDSU), ending a six-year run on the Lions' varsity team.
Jonathan Hardesty was the next leading scorer for the Lions with nine, while Bjorn Broman added six and Mark Chiu three.
Rushford-Peterson had three players in double figures, with Seth Thompson finishing as the team's leading scorer with 19 points.
Lakeview Christian Academy finishes the year with an overall record of (20-11).
