Milwaukee, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Milwaukee Bucks signed free-agent guard O.J. Mayo on Saturday, a three-year, $24 million contract that was made official after the team announced the deal last week.

The 25-year-old averaged 15.3 points for Dallas last season. Mayo opted out of his two-year deal with the Mavericks to test the water with free-agency.

Mayo spent his first four seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies before moving to Dallas for a season. He shot nearly 45 percent from the field last season, including a 40-point game at Houston on Dec. 8.
