Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Hill Murray freshman-to-be Joey Anderson announced via Twitter on Sunday afternoon that he has committed to the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) to play hockey in 2017. As an eighth grader, Anderson started the season with the Hill Murray JV team before finishing in the Minnesota AA State championship game. Anderson finished the season with nine goals and 21 points in 14 games at the varsity level. A native of Roseville, Minn., the 5-foot-10, 155-pound Anderson was recently selected by the Brandon Wheat Kings in the 9th round of the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.
