Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's basketball team has been picked to finish eighth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) preseason coaches' poll, which was released on Wednesday afternoon. The Bulldogs finished the 2012-13 season with an overall record of (8-19) and were (6-16) within the conference, but 12 new faces this season provide plenty of reason for optimism. Second-year head coach Matt Bowen hopes having a full offseason of recruiting will help his team, which will be led this year by NSIC North Division preseason player of the year Brett Ervin. Below are listed the full results of the NSIC men's basketball preseason coaches' poll, with a team's respective first-place votes listed in parentheses. 2013-14 NSIC MEN'S BASKETBALL PRESEASON COACHES' POLL 1.
