Mankato, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) sophomore Chanel Miller won the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) heptathlon championship on Sunday at Myers Fieldhouse in Mankato, Minn. Miller collected 3,776 points in the event to finish first among 20 competitors, and that mark also sets a new indoor program record for the Bulldogs. For the men, UMD senior Ben Niemann also set a new school-record in collecting 4,778 points in the heptathlon to finish sixth at the NSIC championships.
