Bulldogs Release 2014 Football Schedule

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football team will boast six home games and a road showdown with perennial rival St. Cloud State in the 2014 regular season, that as the schedule was officially released on Wednesday morning.

The Bulldogs' 82nd year of intercollegiate football will kick off at home on Sept. 6 with a game against Concordia-St. Paul, with all 11 of UMD's games this season again against Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) opponents.

UMD posted an overall record of (11-2) in 2013 and qualified for a sixth straight NCAA Division II tournament, all that under the guidance of first-year head coach Curt Wiese.

The team will open up spring practice on March 31 and will hold its annual Maroon-White game at 6:00 p.m. on April 25 at Malosky Stadium.

All UMD home games in the 2014 season can again be seen on live television in the Northland on the My 9 Sports Network.
