Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team snapped a seven-game winless streak on Friday night, beating #12-ranked St. Cloud State 2-1 at AMSOIL Arena. The Bulldogs were down 1-0 after the first period following a goal from Kalle Kossila for the Huskies, but responded in the final two periods to get the win. Tony Camaranesi scored his fifth goal of the season in the second period, and Wade Bergman then tallied his first of the year in the third period to end up with the game-winner for UMD. Aaron Crandall was impressive in goal for the Bulldogs, making several spectacular saves to finish with 27 in the winning effort. UMD is now (3-6-2) overall this season and (1-4-2) in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). Game two of this weekend series is set for 7:07 p.m. on Saturday night at AMSOIL Arena.
