Bulldogs WBB 25th on National Academic Honor Roll

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The UMD women's basketball team earned the 25th spot on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Team Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll, it was announced on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs posted the 25th best overall team grade point average (GPA) among Division II women's basketball teams, turning in a cumulative GPA of 3.415.

UMD also saw five of its members earn a spot on the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) all-academic team in that 2011-12 season.
