Chapman, Huskies Cruse by the Blue Anchors

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Huskies starter Clay Chapman pitched seven strong innings as Duluth beat Alexandria 4-1 on Saturday night for "St. Patrick's Day in July" at Wade Stadium.

The Florida Southern hurler gave up just one run and two hits in seven innings while striking out seven. Chapman's ERA fell to 1.66 in the win.

Michael Suiter and Alex Wojciechowski both knocked in a run for the Huskies who sported special "St. Patty's" jerseys for the game.

Duluth resumes action on Sunday when they host the Blue Anchors again at 5:05 p.m.
