Cloquet's Rogers, Huskies Win in Walkoff

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Cloquet, Minn. native and soon-to-be St. Scholastica senior pitcher Thomas Rogers pitched 5.1 scoreless innings on Thursday night, helping the Duluth Huskies to a 3-2 walkoff win over Willmar at Wade Stadium.

Rogers, making his first start since high school, allowed just four hits and recorded two strikeouts en route to taking a no decision as his official result.

Keith Curcio was the offensive leader for the Huskies, going 4-for-4 at the plate while also knocking in a run.

Duluth is now (16-13) this 2013 season and in third place of the Northwoods League North division.
