Kalamazoo, MI (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey teams used a four-point night from both Justin Crandall and Kyle Osterberg as the Bulldogs beat Western Michigan University 5-2 on Friday night.
Osterberg put the Bulldogs on the board first with a power-play goal in the first period. It was tied 1-1 after one until Tony Cameranesi put UMD up a goal again.
This one was tied at 2-2 headed into the third period before Crandall scored twice and Osterberg added his second of the night to seal the deal.
Aaron Crandall had 17 saves in net for the Bulldogs.
UMD (11-9-3) and WMU (12-9-4) will face off again on Saturday night at 6:07 p.m.
