Bemidji, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Cody Danberg scored his first goal since 2010 and lifted the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team to a 1-1 overtime tie on Saturday night against Bemidji State at the Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minn.

Danberg's goal came midway through the third period, marking the senior captain's first goal this season and first since he scored against Mercyhurst on Jan. 2, 2010.

Freshman goaltender Matt McNeely made 26 saves in the contest for UMD, which ran its current winless streak to seven games with the tie.
