Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native Kelsey Kehtel has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) women's soccer player of the year for a second consecutive season, it was announced on Tuesday. Kehtel finished the UMAC portion of this season with 20 goals and eight assists, becoming the first-ever St. Scholastica women's soccer player to record back-to-back 20-goal seasons. The former Greyhound earned last season both player of the year and the rookie of the year honors in the UMAC. She was also named on Tuesday to the all-conference first team, along with teammates Andrea Beatt, Shannon Carlson, Taylor Cunningham, Logan Williamson, and Kelsey Reeves. Another Duluth, Minn. native, Joey Moore, was named to the all-conference second team, and Maggie Doan was named the Saints' representative on the all-sportsmanship team.
