Duluth Native Stratioti 19th in 800m at NCAAs

Eugene, OR (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native and North Dakota State University (NDSU) junior Paige Stratioti finished in 19th place on Wednesday evening in the 800-meter dash at the 2014 NCAA Division I track and field championships in Eugene, Ore.

Stratioti finished her heat in seventh place with a time of 2:06.62, which was a little more than four seconds slower than the fastest time in the preliminary round.

The 2011 Duluth Central graduate has one more event at the NCAA meet, that being the 4x400-meter relay with her NDSU teammates on Thursday night at 8:40 p.m. CT.
