Norman, OK (NNCNOW.com) -- Duluth Denfeld graduate Maile'ana Kanewa helped the Oklahoma gymnastics team on Saturday night win a share of the NCAA Division I championship, marking the first time in Sooners history a team has won at least a share of the national title.

Kanewa scored a 9.900 on both the floor exercise and the vault, both events in which she was named an All-American after the first day of national competition on Friday.

Oklahoma scored a 198.175 as a team and will share the national championship with Florida, marking the first time in NCAA Division I gymnastics that there have been co-national champions.
