Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Esko boys' basketball team lost 72-47 on Friday night against #2-seeded Litchfield in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class AA semifinals at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Casey Staniger paced the Eskomos' offense with 11 points in the game, with Kory Deadrick adding 10 points. Litchfield, meanwhile, had three players score in double figures, led by the 22 points on Zach Whitchurch. Esko is now (27-5) overall this season and will play #5-seeded Annandale for third place, with that game set for 12:00 p.m. on March 23 at Concordia University in St. Paul, Minn.
