Tampa Bay, FL (NNCNOW.com) --- The Columbus Blue Jackets have traded former University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) defenseman Drew Olson to Tampa Bay in exchange for future considerations, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon. Olson signed with Columbus this past April, that after being drafted by the Blue Jackets in the fourth round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He played in five games with Peoria of the American Hockey League (AHL), totaling zero goals and one assist in that time. Olson skated four seasons with the Bulldogs, playing in 144 games and finishing with three goals and 18 assists.
