Jordan, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Floodwood pounced back after a heartbreaking loss on Thursday to beat Blackduck 8-3 and earn a spot in the consolation championship of the MSHSL Class A baseball tournament at the Mini Met in Jordan, Minn. The Polar Bears scored four in the second inning including a two-run single from Riley Bernsdorf. Floodwood added another run in the fourth thanks to a Jacob Peterson double and two more runs in the sixth. Bernsdorf pitched a complete game, giving up two earned runs on five hits with six strikeouts. His brother, Trevor Bernsdorf had a team-high three RBI for the Polar Bears.
