Fond du Lac Ojibwe Falls in Third Place Game

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Fond du Lac Ojibwe boys' basketball team set a tournament record with 19 3-pointers, but it wasn't enough as Maranatha Christian Academy prevailed 103-87 in the MSHSL Class A third-place game on Saturday.

The Ogichidaag's Trevontae Brown tied a single game record with 10 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 35 points. The Mustangs' Josh Goldschmidt rattled off 45 points in the win.

Davonte Williamson and Jordan Diver each finished with 17 points for FDL.

Fond du Lac Ojibwe, who took home fourth place in Class A in their school's first ever state tournament, finished the season (24-4).
