Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Former Bulldog lineman Jake Bscherer has been invited to attend a rookie camp with the Seattle Seahawks on May 9-11, according to our news partners at the Duluth News Tribune.
Bscherer played three seasons at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before transferring to UMD for his final year of eligibility. Bscherer played in three bowl games during his time with the Badgers.
The Sturgeon Bay, Wisc. native is listed at 6-foot-7 and 305 pounds as a tackle.
First-year head coach Curt Wiese tweeted after finding out the news: "Jake Bscherer to the Seahawks as a free agent. We are very excited for you."
Bscherer worked out at Wisconsin's pro day on March 6 in Madison, running a 5.22 in the 40 and a 7.4 in the 3-cone drill, the best by an offensive lineman at the Badgers' Pro Day in three years.
