(Northland's NewsCenter) --- Former Superior defenseman Brett Olson and former Hermantown forward Drew LeBlanc have both been invited to the Minnesota Wild's development camp, which will run July 9-15.

Olson just completed a four-year career at Michigan Tech, having totaled 10 goals and 20 assists in 39 games played this past winter.

The former Spartan was a two-year captain at Michigan Tech, helping the Huskies this season to the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) Final Five.

LeBlanc, meanwhile, is entering his fifth season with St. Cloud State after being granted a medical redshirt by the NCAA.

The 22-year-old Leblanc played in only 10 games for the Huskies in the 2011-12 season before breaking his left leg in two places. He had two goals and 10 assists before being injured.

The Wild will hold two scrimmages open to the public during the development camp, the first at 7:00 p.m. on July 12 and the second at 11:00 a.m. on July 15.
