Andre Hollins added 16 points in the winning effort for the Gophers, marking the first time since 1989 Minnesota has beaten a team ranked #1 in the national polls.
Minnesota is now (19-9) overall and (7-8) within the Big Ten, with the win helping solidify their spot as an NCAA tournament team this season.
