Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth East volleyball team earned a 3-0 win over Chisago Lakes on Wednesday night, advancing to the second round of the Section 7AAA playoffs.
Mandy Kurosky was the early leader for the Greyhounds, notching a service ace to clinch the first set and start the 25-15, 25-18, 25-19 sweep for the home team.
Duluth East now advances to the Section 7AAA quarterfinals, with the team's next game set for 7:00 p.m. October 26 against Elk River.
