H'Town's Sundbom Climbs into Top 10 at State Open

Brooklyn Park, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Hermantown native Taylor Sundbom climbed his way up the standings to finish in a tie for 9th at the Minnesota State Open at Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park, Minn. on Sunday.

Sunbom started the day in a tie for 15th but shot a final round 70 to move into the top ten of the state's best.

Duluth native Dan Moline struggled on Sunday with a 74 and finished in a tie for 26th. Moline was in second place after the opening round on Friday.

Superior's Andy Smith finished the tournament at one-over-par in a tie for 18th while Reidar Lund champion Alex Kolquist finished in the 43rd spot at five-over-par.
