Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- UW-Superior senior forward Hailey Hart surpassed 1,000 career points on Wednesday night, but the Yellowjackets women's basketball team dropped a close 64-62 game to UW-River Falls.

Hart hit the scoring milestone on the team's first possession, eventually becoming the sixth leading scorer in Yellowjackets program history.

Hart finished with 13 points, while Connie Urmanski led UW-Superior with a game-high 26 points in the contest.

Hermantown native Bri Davis had six points in the game, and freshman Deandra Vavra had a game-high six assists.
