Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Northland boys' hockey rivals Hermantown and Duluth Marshall will meet in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class A tournament quarterfinals, it was announced on Saturday morning.

Hermantown earned the #3 seed at the tournament and randomly drew the unseeded Duluth Marshall as a first-round opponent, with the game set for 1:00 p.m. on March 6 at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Hawks are making a fourth straight appearance at state after beating St. Cloud Cathedral 4-1 in the Section 5A championship, with the Hilltoppers making a second straight trip after a 3-2 win over Duluth Denfeld in Section 7A title game.
