Hermantown Falls in Consolation Semifinals

St. Cloud, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Luverne scored the game-winning run on a sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to beat Hermantown 2-1 in the consolation semifinals of the MSHSL Class AA baseball tournament at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud.

Kevin Stocke pitched a complete game for the Hawks, giving up four hits and one earned run while striking out five.

Kole Zuidmulder had the lone RBI for Hermantown in the bottom of the first to give the Hawks the 1-0 lead.

Hermantown finishes the season at 20-5. The Cardinals advance to the consolation championship game.
