Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Hermantown's Deb Showalter credited her putter for most of her success on Wednesday, that after carding an 18-hole score of 78 to win the 2012 Nemadji Women's Invitational.
Showalter beat out defending champion Norma O'Leary by four strokes, winning her sixth-ever title at the tournament.
O'Leary, from Silver Bay, had won the championship four of the past five years and nine times overall.
The other two competitors in the championship flight were Amy Patenaude and Trish Glanville, who tied for third place with a score of 83.
