Hockey Holiday Tournament Wrap up

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- CEC came out victorious as well as Notre Dame Academy based in Green Bay, in local holiday hockey tournaments.

The Heritage Holiday Classic Championship game between CEC and Duluth Denfeld was held Saturday night. CEC won with a score of 3-0.

Notre Dame of Green Bay were deemed the champions of The Hilltopper Holiday Classic after defeating the Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers, 6-3.

The third place game of The Hilltopper Holiday Classic was a battle 'till the end between Superior and Appleton United.

A 3-3 tie after the third period would force a five minute over time, which led to a shootout.

Appleton scored 2 out of 3 goals while Superior scored 1 out of 3, deeming Appleton the third place winners, with the final score of 4-3.
