Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- With temperatures outside reaching into the 80s, 55 youth hockey teams took the ice this weekend as part of the 7th annual Northern Exposure Tournament.
Teams are in the Northland from all over the country, including from as far away as California and Arizona, to compete in the three-day tournament.
Games are being played this weekend at six different arenas, with players ranging in age from 11 to 18.
3,000 people are expected to be in the Northland for the tournament, with organizers estimating that the weekend will pump nearly $750,000 in the area economy.
