'Hounds Fall to Anoka, Still Alive in Tourney

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth East softball team started Saturday off by upsetting second-seeded Duluth Denfeld, and then won in an elimination game, 6-3. to beat St. Francis in advance in the Section 7AAA softball tournament at Wheeler Field.

The 'Hounds beat the Hunters 3-1 before falling to Anoka 5-0. Then, in a must-win game, East went on to beat the Fighting Saints and move on to the Final Four in Chisago Lakes.

East will face Andover on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
