Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth Huskies won't win the North division title in the season's first half, but they certainly are making noise headed to the second half.

Following a 6-5 win over the Willmar Stingers on Tuesday, the Huskies are now winners of nine of their last 11 games.

Chris Manship had three runs batted in while Mike Bisenius knocked in two to back up a decent outing by starting pitcher Dane Gronewald.

Relief pitcher Dylan Thomas pitched 2.1 scoreless innings for the Huskies to earn the win, marking his second victory of the year.

Duluth will officially close out the first half of the Northwoods League season on Wednesday against the Stingers, with the first pitch set for 7:05 at Wade Stadium.
