Huskies Home Opener Cancelled Until Sunday

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth Huskies home opener set for Saturday night at 7:35 p.m. at Wade Stadium against the Mankato Moondogs has been cancelled due to poor field conditions.

The game has been re-scheduled for Sunday as a double-header. There will be two seven-inning games starting at 4:05 p.m.

Tickets for Saturday's game can be exchanged at the gate. The Huskies sit at (2-1) after winning their opening series of the 2013 season against the Alexandria Blue Anchors.

Sunday's game will be the Duluth debut for NSIC Player of the Year and Bulldogs infielder Alex Wojciechowski. UMD pitcher John Meyer is also a member of the Huskies.
