Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) ---The Duluth Huskies were down 7-0 at one point but rallied back and won in walk-off fashion thanks to Michael Suiter to beat the Alexandria Blue Anchors 7-6 on Friday night at Wade Stadium in front of 2,494.

Suiter went 4-for-5 including the game-winning hit, a single to right field that allowed Kyle Teaf to score from second.

It was the Huskies third straight win, who control their own destiny with just nine games to play. Duluth has a 1 1/2 game lead over Willmar for the second playoff spot.

Dan Schmidt started the game for the Huskies but gave up six runs on six hits in just 1 2/3 innings. AJ McElderry got the win on the mound with two scoreless innings of relief.

Duluth and Alexandria will meet again on Saturday night at 6:35 p.m. at Wade Stadium.
