Huskies Win Third Straight, Sweep Waterloo

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Keith Curcio had two runs batted in and a run scored on Wednesday night as the Duluth Huskies earned a 5-2 win over Waterloo, completing a sweep of the Bucks and marking the team's third straight victory.

Clay Chapman allowed just one run over six innings to earn the win, with University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) sophomore John Meyer providing one inning of scoreless relief.

Duluth, Minn. native Andy Stukel was the home plate umpire for the game, marking the first time he'd worked a Northwoods League contest in his hometown.

Duluth is now (15-13) this 2013 season and tied for fourth place in the Northwoods League North division.
