Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth Huskies have added a pair of NCAA Division I champions to its roster, announcing on Wednesday the signing of Max Schuh and Christoph Bono from UCLA.
The Bruins won the national championship earlier this week with a two-game sweep over Mississippi State, and the two players are expected to arrive in Duluth, Minn. shortly.
Schuh is a left-handed relief pitcher just ending his sophomore season with UCLA, appearing in 12 games in 2013 and allowing no runs over his 2.1 innings of total work.
Bono, meanwhile, is left-handed hitting outfielder just wrapping his freshman season as a Bruin. He hit for a .216 average this spring with 10 runs batted in and two home runs.
